An important aspect of treating foot pain is to make sure that shoes are fit properly. A well fit shoe will enhance the treatment prescribed by your podiatrist. An experienced and well-trained shoe fitter can make sure that orthotics fit correctly into shoes and ensure that your shoes don’t aggravate bunions, hammertoes, flat feet or other foot and ankle problems.
The following Puget Sound shoe stores have well trained personnel and can provide professional shoe fitting. If you own or manage a shoe store and would like to be added to the Foot and Ankle Center list, please contact us so that we can arrange to meet with you.
If you are coming to see us as a patient, we recommend that you do not purchase shoes until after your appointment. We will likely give you recommendations on the proper shoes for your feet.
